COMMANDO 2013
Story:

Film has a very common and thin plot which is a vice of most of the action flicks. A commando stuck in China and after crossing border into Himanchal Pradesh, he finds himself in a peculiar situation where he needs to save the girl from goons and mad lover. What happens eventually is not exciting enough in terms of plot but yes, loads of action makes this film a satisfying journey.
In terms of performances, Vidyut Jamwal makes a huge impact with mind blowing dare devil stunts. He was publicized as next action hero and without doubt he proves his credential. Film has some really amazing nail biting action thrilling sequences and Vidyut is simply outstanding. Neither he looks funny likemost of our heroes who keep flying in air and keep jumping with the support of wires and cables. Nor he loses intensity in any action sequence.
Miss India Pooja Chopra makes a decent debut. She looks attractive and exhibits decent acting skills. Jaideep Ahlawat plays baddie with perfection and he is the man to look out for. Music is the big minus for the film as it keeps breaking the flow of the film and should had been avoided. Story could had been more engaging and direction should had been more consistent. 2nd half drags though last 20 minutes make up for it.
Director Dilip Ghosh attempted a different sort of action film but with tighter direction and without much song and drama, it could had been the perfect debut for him. Nevertheless director delivers a good film.
